Ok, unless you’ve been living under a rock or hiding in a cave, then you should have heard the name of JEREMY LIN pop up a few million times.

*Jeremy Lin is a Chinese American Basketball player that graduated from Harvard University and fumbled in the NBA until ending up on the NEW YORK KNICKS starting roster.

*By now you should have heard of all the nickmanes….LIN-Sanity, LIN-sane, LIN credible, blah blah blah….it will go on forever……

*Jeremy Lin, as he would rather be called, Dude is sooo humble and appreciates every opportunity that he is now given. He was not drafted out of college, but was invited to play on the Dallas summer league squad. Lin played in 4 games and out shined  number 1 draft pick John Wall …4 NBA teams offered Lin a contract where he eventually signed with the Golden State Warriors.  The other teams had better offers, however Warriors was hi childhood team and wanted to play in front of his home town…..he already had a somewhat “cult following” going into his first game. Lin played a pretty up and down season, getting sent down to the developmental league to further work on his game. During the off season and eventual “lockout” Lin worked on his game. On Dec. 9th….the first day of training camp he was waived by Warriors…He was then claimed by the Houston Rockets on Dec. 12th…only to be cut the day before the season began on Dec.24th….The New York Knicks claimed Lin on Dec. 27th….the rest is History….

*I am not a “bandwagon” fool…just your plain ole fool….We all knew that I was a die hard KNICK fan….I just got something to cheer about now.

*This was my favorite one….Go KNICKS!!!! hopefully the players can play team ball and go to the playoffs and go far……I still think it will be Heat vs OKC thunder in the finals…….but, who knows

Happy Holidays and all that great stuff….Hope your day was a joyous one……   For some of us die hard fans, we got a special treat this Christmas….the NBA season kicked off in grand fashion.  The New York Knicks squeaked a nail bitter vs the Boston Celtics…such a great way to start the season…  

The Knicks picked up a couple of great stars……Tyson Chandler from the Dallas Mavericks and Baron Davis from the Cleveland Cavs.

The 808 Tattoo Crew had a great Christmas lunch the other day at “Prima Restaurant” in Kailua……great stuff…. *Prima specializes in the best made stone oven pizza’s….if you been to the V Lounge and ate their pizza’s…then Prima is just your spot.
